The first cd in a new series from The Secret Place, featuring live spontaneous soaking worship from Pursuit, Auckland, New Zealand.

For some time at Pursuit we have been developing a more spontaneous style of worship. We have enjoyed some wonderful and creative moments together. It seemed a shame that these experiences with God were enjoyed for such a brief moment and then gone forever. We decided to capture something of the "new sound" we have found, and share it with anyone who hungers for it as we do.

With the exception of the first track, which contains several church choruses, this cd is comprised entirely of free worship and spontaneous songs recorded live during our services at Pursuit. Apart from minor editing they remain just as they were recorded. This is raw worship that captures something of the presence of God that we long for.

The cd has been produced as an aid to personal worship. The free worship sections (which include long passages of singing in the spirit) have the purpose of encouraging the listener to make their own spontaneous contribution while soaking in God’s presence.

As you become involved with us in this intimate and creative worship journey, I'm sure you will sense with us the wonder and excitement of a fresh encounter with God.

Message: I Love the way you bring me into the present of the Father with the anointing that is in it. It brings me from the outer to the inter courts to the most Holy Place of Worship. I wish there were more of the song nointi doing the sam thing of course I know that they are doing only what they know and hear. There are a few more like you and this type of worship is what I like. Message: Dear Ray Thank you and God bless you. I have been so richly blessed by being led to your web site a few months ago. Then, I downloaded some of the free music (I just love "Your grace is enough") The latest music, being the spontaneous worship from your album Pursuit of His presence cannot be compared to anything else I have heard. There was a prophetic word a few years ago that said The Lord was about to raise up "Minstrels" who would praise Him in His Holiness and lead many to a deeper place in worship. The place where He loves for us to be. Well you are one of those "Minstrels" and I praise God for you. Keep on loving Him and being obedient to His call on your life.
