Song Lyrics

Yes I'm falling in love all over, all over again (Repeats)

And my heart goes out to You Lord cause I'm so grateful

Cause you shed Your blood and hung upon a tree (Repeats)

For me

And my soul goes out to You now Lord cause I'm so grateful

That you shed Your blood and hung upon a tree

And my heart goes out to You Lord cause I'm so grateful

Cause you shed Your blood and hung upon that tree

For me

Song Notes

This is a spontaneous song conceived during worship as a simple outpouring of love for God in appreciation of what He has done for us. When we get a revelation of the love of God our hearts go out to Him in thankfulness. Worship is the response of the human heart to a fresh revelation of the goodness of God. Sometimes our hearts become cold as we harden ourselves against the disappointments and hurts we encounter in life. People let us down, we make mistakes, we struggle against insurmountable odds, and difficulties and cares of this life weigh us down to the point where we can feel numb inside.

But a fresh revelation of how much God did for us on the cross and how much He really cares about us as unique individuals can help us out of our depression and pain. In our moment of rescue we look to Him with fresh hope, our hearts swell again with love for Him, our Saviour. We love Him because He first loved us. And the more we are forgiven, the more we love.

The Old Testament command, "Thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might," (Deuteronomy 6:5) is not so much a "you must" as it is a statement of how much God values us and our relationship with Him. He is saying, "this is the most important thing to Me, please give it your careful attention, as it is My highest priority. YOU are My greatest priority, and your love for Me in return is my greatest desire, for I am LOVE, and I desire to love and be loved."

In Matthew 4:10 Jesus quotes the Old Testament by saying, " Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve." When we love God with grateful hearts, we worship Him out of our love for Him. It is out of this love relationship we desire to lay our lives down for Him in service. Lovers make better workers than servants. His love for us draws us to love Him, and flows into a lifestyle of worship and service.

Now I'm falling in love again, all over again.
