Every church has a unique identity and calling. God's plan is to have church families everywhere that meet the needs of every social group and longing of man. As a church, our identity is a passionate people who long for, and pursue His presence. We desire intimacy with the One we were created to love. As we seek to place the first commandment in first place (Matt. 22:37, 38) we will become a passionate people who are eager to pursue Him and fulfil His purpose in the earth.
We were born pursuers. Everything within us cries out for the One who made us and redeemed us. We cannot be satisfied with anything less than God Himself. In a world of apathy and compromise, there is a longing for reality and an encounter with the One who is truth and life. The time of His return draws near and He will have a passionate bride at His coming: a bride who not only longs for His return, but fulfils His purpose in the earth.
History is shaped by those who are passionate in their faith. The God who gave everything for us, deserves our all in return. Let us be passionate in our pursuit of Him.
