Song Notes

God the Father sent His only Son Jesus that we may have life to the fullest (John 10:10). As our Creator and the creator of the whole world, only He knows how we can best experience this. He sees the future and His wisdom is better than ours. Isaiah 55:9 "As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts." (NIV) His heart of love is completely for us and not against us. He wants us to prosper, to have a future and a hope that does not disappoint (Jeremiah 29:11). The storms of life can sometimes be enough to wear us out but God knows how to help us navigate these to safety. He eye is on us like a shepherd who watches over His sheep. He leads us to green pastures and nourishes us with rest (Psalm 23:2-3).

Psalm 38:8 (NIV) The Lord says, “I will guide you along the best pathway for your life. I will advise you and watch over you.”

Through this song, God is encouraging us to place our full trust in Him and to build a personal relationship with Him. We will learn to navigate these storms not by formula but by His daily word and building on our experience of asking Him for guidance and seeing Him come through for us. Let us tune ourselves and place our trust in Him. God is watching over you. He has you covered in His love.
