However, as we journey through life we have the power to choose to remember God’s benefits. Choose to remember all the good things He has done for you. Recall to mind the testimonies of God’s faithfulness to you. Deciding to focus on His goodness and the testimonies of what He has done in the past is a choice we make. However, sometimes when we are faced with a situation our default setting is to go towards the negative. Here is where we make the choice; a choice to remember God’s goodness despite the immediate circumstances. When we begin to focus on His goodness and remember all His benefits towards us, we begin to create an environment of thankfulness instead of doubt and despair. Our hearts are filled with hope and faith as our focus shifts from the problems to His goodness. Make a choice today to remember His benefits. As you do, you will see your life through His eyes and see His faithfulness, mercy and love that surrounds you.
